Re: ADVANTAGES/ ADDICTION OF AN AIRGUN
Rriha ji,
again.
The third squirrel shaped target seems to be like something I read. You hit the target marked on the body, it falls. and gets disassembled. Then you pull a string to assemble it again, ready for the next shot.
The other two seem to have no distention of a shot and one that just hits the target wherever. It would rotate about its axix and be ready for the next shot. No issue, where you hit it.
Regards

@aadhaulya - The squirrel target is a double shot action unit.
If you hit the kill zone on the animal heart area, the whole unit will fall flat, but the same can be reset to a standing position by hitting the lower yellow circle below the foot of the squirrel connected to a lever.
The other above units are just spinning levers, run more under the influence of gravity.

@atul,
I am unable to attach images to the forum. Too lazy to upload them to another host and then share links here.
Send me your mail id, i can email images for the self resetting bunny targets i made for myself. Pretty simple to make, the pictures will give you a fair idea to make one for your self

kshitij,
I got your mail. You have created a beautiful collection of targets that needs to be shared, you are an artist. If you are too lazy to share it here I could do it for you, if you allow me.
All of these seem to be made of metal. Can they be used for .22 or big bore rifles as well????
Regards

Re: ADVANTAGES/ ADDICTION OF AN AIRGUN
Atul, thanks for the praise, but i am no artist. Actually i am far from it, even during school i used to get the girls from the class to do my arts and crafts projects for me
All my diy projects today like the knives, sheaths, plinking targets are solely due to the shortage of any decent stuff here and the hassles of getting anything imported.
These targets have been shot at with various air rifles (wont get into the caliber or power details) and they work just fine. They could be used with fire arms too, just a higher sheet thickness with better welded joints will be required.
You are free to share the images, everyone should make few like these themselves, they take the joy of shooting to another level.
