Dear Forum Members,
I tried searching for a suitable post on the forum but could not locate one hence the new post. Would someone please shed light if an OCI (Overseas citizen of India) holder is allowed to become a member of the state rifle association?

An OCI is allowed to apply for and receive a gun licence, acquire and possess firearms so, IMO there should be no issues with taking up a membership with NRAI.
When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns!

keep in mind that if you want to join to shoot in matches then you will not get any medals but if you want to join to get an arms license it will not help you. yes you can join

Thank you gentlemen! Yes Nagarifle sir, you guessed correct! The aim of the membership is very much to practice but importantly it also a stepping stone to apply and posses a firearm. Disappointing to know it wont help the ultimate cause
