But can you tell us why did you put engine oil first ? Any old reason ?

Also, is the final finish as blue as you expected ?

Thanks Dr.Jk, I have also found some more good products on this site. But does any one have experience on purchase from this site. As it says that I would have to clear it from the 'customs'. I want to know the process and hassles involved in releasing the product from customs, if somebody knows about this aspect.

i have bought few products from this site i didn't have any problem.most of the time shipping is costlier than the product!!you don't have to worry about customs.

This is how it looks after assembling.aadhaula what i have done is slow rust bluing,not cold bluing.cold bluing is done easily polish,degrease apply the bluing solution and oil.

Since Brihji had advised on cold bluing,i tried on my walther dominator.here is the result.

Now Sir, could please tell me about 'cold rust blueing' that you mention.
Also I have found the cold blueing stuff on 'Ballistol.in' hence no issue regarding customs. A 50ml bottle of Klever (quick blueing) for Rs 1550.
I think I ask too many questions but please excuse me as I am very new to all this wonderful world of guns.
