Pure awesomeness! What a lovely blade. How is the balance?Moin. wrote:Another huge Khukri from Nepal made as per my specs, modeled after WW2 Mk43 Khukri. This one's an M43 on Anabolic Steroids. The blades's massive at 15 Inches, is 1 cm thick at the spine, full tang. I specifically requested for a lanyard hole this time given its massive size and weight. Handle's rosewood rivetted to the tang.
Thanks Choombak Damn thing is so heavy i never really bothered to check, but believe me in spite of its weight the blade is quite maneuverablechoombak wrote:Pure awesomeness! What a lovely blade. Hi, Is that Victorinox Silver Alox an old Voyager or a Cadet?painn wrote:Hi all,
My first real post here. (I'm a Bangalore based geek who's been lurking for a while now).
Now that my BK-7 has arrived I thought I should post this picture of the best part of my knife collection.
In addition to the Becker BK-7 you'll see a few Victorinox SAKs (the two hand opening ones are limited/special editions); a Sanrenmu 710; a small Muela; Spyderco Tenacious; a couple of nifty Munkees; and the Iain Sinclair credit card knife.
Regretfully missing is the True Utility smartknife (old version) that I dropped somewhere.
These knives are all in use, distributed between pocket, key ring, EDC bag, glove compartment, boot, drawer and cupboard safe. [ Image ]
Thanks for the welcome.Moin. wrote:Awesome blades painn. A very warm welcome to IFG. The Bk7s a great great blade... which is the one on the lefy, looks like a copy of chris reeves sebenza small.
Thanks. I realised I hadn't put my Opinel No 9 in the frame.essdee1972 wrote:Painn, nice collection!
Is that an Olive Planet bandanna in the background?
