That's a quick turn around on your revolver application. Congratulations, Tarun.

Hi guys,
I have been fighting for Fresh Arms Licence since January 2014. Now, The case is in Delhi High Court -all the arguments and hearings are done. Judge has reserve the judgement. He can announce the judgement anytime.
You can check the status on delhi high court website - petition Name - Ashish Talgotra year 2014

Hi kandarp,
Last week i received a letter from licensing unit, defence colony stating that you do not have any good reason , 2. You do not have any specific threat. 3. In the report from local police, as required under section 13(2) of Arms Act, 1959, your case has been returned to this office and the case is not recommended from their side.
In last they have also stated that within 30 days you can appeal to Lt. Governor, Delhi.
So, I want to know is there still any hope of getting the license? and if any then in which format i can file an appeal to LG.
Regards

The hope depends on how far you are willing to take this matter and not surrender. You can know the format, procedure and required fees etc. from LG's office. You had applied for what kind of firearm? Like shotgun or pistol/ revolver? There is nothing much to worry about the reply they have given. It is their standard reply without judicious application of mind. You or your lawyer may also read the following very carefully -Ankushtyagi92 wrote:So, I want to know is there still any hope of getting the license? and if any then in which format i can file an appeal to LG.
