No they dont send it in parts. And so it was struck in customs for almost 10 days and it was released only after getting proper letters from rifle club:-)

Thanks Kiran. Have ordered for gas online, but it will take at least 6-8 weeks. So waiting..
That's an awesome looking colt revolver you've got. Where did you import it from and what does it run on? You seem to be building an enviable collection of pistols and guns. Take care, happy shooting!1

Hi, I have imported it from airgundepot.com. It runs on CO2 12g catridge. I dont know if this revolver falls under airsoft or airgun. In the website they mentioned it as airgun.

It shoots .177 steel or brass bbs. I have not used the gun yet as I dont have the BBs right now. I just loaded the co2 catridge and did some blank fire.

The revolver is really heavy weighing around 2Kilos.

Will give you all more updates once I get the pellets ( steel BBs).

Kiran, it's an airgun, not an airsoft. Only replica guns which shoot 6mm plastic BBs can be called airsoft.

Your colt shoots .177 metal BBs, & not pellets. I guess airgun mechanism between pellets & BBs is very different, with former using a rotary mag system.

Looking forward to your updates.

I completely agree with you, but I am not convinced with the mechanism:-(

I had a Dan wesson BB revolver which I bought it denmark. It shoots 6mm plastic bbs. And it works same as this colt. Only difference between these two is the plastic BBs and steel BBs. Both have the same the velocity around 400 to 450 fps. Both have these cartridges which give the real bullet feeling, both have this drum which can accommodate only 6 bbs, both run with CO2.

Just because colt shoots steel BBs, can we call it as airgun?

My impression is airguns are those with good accuracy, decent velocity, used for target practicing and hunting. Airsoft is more or less a toy gun, but replicas which can give an idea of how the real fire arms work, less velocity and less accurate.

I used to love airsoft and these replica guns, but after acquiring my precihole Scorpius ( 0.22) air rifle, I am just loving it. Its more accurate, can shoot more than 30 mtrs, and more over the karbin model which I bought gives an awesome feeling.

Yes, just because colt shoots steel BBs, we can call it an airgun. Remember, the metal BB is size 0.177 which is an accepted airgun cal. If it shot 6mm plastic BBS, whichever be the mechanism involved, it automatically becomes an airsoft.

We shouldn't compare airsoft with airguns. Both are two types of hobbies that resides in the shooting category. You might already know about airsoft war videos on youtube. That is where airsoft (soft air) is used, mainly for pure fun. Same can't be done with metal BBs because of the danger involved. Plastic BBs just sting, & that too at short ranges with far less ricochet, unlike metal BBs.

Kiran, same here. I have both & i like them both almost equally. It's just that both are for different tasks.

By the way guys,

One of our IFG guys contacted me and asked me to get a pistol for him. I have a friend too who is waiting for some one to share the shipping cost.

So if any of you guys are looking for any pistol, please let us know so that we all can import together and save some shipping charges.

Just a bit of the reality outside our "free" country. (Only based on airsoft situation, our nation is really blessed in many other aspects. )

Guys, whoever interested in getting some airsoft guns at sane prices(without customs hassles) might just have some good times coming up. Ping up so we can try something. NO, I'm NOT selling!

@kiran, check PM.
