I wouldn't spend 4.5 grand on an airsoft, unless it is electric or something. Purely personal opinion.

Almost all the components inside an AEG gearbox are under great stresses, much less than airguns but still hard on the many internal bits. There are many gearboxes that lasts several tens of thousands of rounds, and then some that breaks under a hundred shots. It all depends on how well it's put together especially the tolerances, and metallurgy of the parts.

It can get very noisy depending on the level of lubing & clearances.
