About the slingshot, what is the rubber that you have used and what kind of accuracy does it have, because I use a maroon rubber, that I had bought from Nepal, the name of which I am not aware.

Thats great ! Thanks a lot for all the info bro..if you dont mind can you please do me the favor of clicking the khukri look alike from various angles which will give me an idea of the thickness of the blade and so on . I feel its worth investigating since i love the length.

Its actually just bought because of its look and is not much of a kukuri. The blade is thinner than a kukuri buy a little thicker than a kabar but the major issue its not that but it being steel, not stainless and lighter weight of the metal.
Not saying its crap but not close to a kukuri. I mean you can not use it for cut fat tree branches or anything more than a little chopping. Its strong enough for avg use and thick enough to go through meat and bone.

Its a part of my little acquisition from my village which includes the pair of karambits, custom made to fit my fingers and palm as I wanted it to be small, an inch and half blade made made at "Baghoura", a neighboring village famous for knife making and man its tank for its small and sleek slip joint design. I guess its not in the pic. Apart from this in llI also got those 2 mini trishuls, three axes, the heavy dao with the curved blade and spine. I got few knuckle dusters for friends who wanted it as I don't like the local ones but could not resist a steel knuckles with 4 batman logo on the finger holes.

The best part is they all cost me less than my cheapest imported folder. The khukuri was for 200 bucks after negotiating from 350 quoted.

You can visit any sports shop and ask for an exercise band. They are usually 6 inch wide and 5 ft long. The trick is cutting 1 inch/ 1ft straps. The accuracy is not effected and I use double strings to make stronger shots.

First of all, compliments for the awesome collection. Can you please give details and directions to your village where I can get the Karambits .

You don't get them there. I showed a blacksmith a screenshot I took from a national geographic show on YT. He took a look for a second and said offcource. He never took a second look while making it the next day.

He said this work required re adjusting according to my palm size so will cost a bit more and humbly requested me to pay 50 bucks per karambit :D

Btw.,if someone can make a nice handle and sheath for my karambit, as a gratitude I would like to offer the other one.

My karambit with a make do sheath and surgical tape and bandages for handle and the blank. I know may look crappy but I Love it :D

PS: looking for someone who can help with a handle and a sheath on one of their projects  The Karambit blank would be a return gift

Hi Shashank
I found this design for Kerambit online, just see if it can be of use for your Kerambit

Nice, thanks man. That's a cold steel double agent. I like the traditional single index finger hole karambit for the fancy flicking. You can't do that with these, plus I am sure it will be a little complicated for the black smith too :D
Cold steel does offer a full size karambit called the cold steel tiger karambit. You might wanna google it.

anyways with the busy life and now with a kid, I really doubt, I will be able to go back to my village any time soon. I am planning to make it the next project though. If I find a local blacksmith, I can ask if he can reproduce it. If he passes, I might have a custom karambit maker at my disposal
