Nice video - you have some beautiful equipment. I notice that the can at 156 meters was hit after a pellet flight of 5 to 6 seconds - which is an average velocity of about 26 meters per sec. The 166 meter flight was about 6 sec. Still there was enough power to puncture the can. It is about 8 sec for 187 meter Good stuff.

How did you do the aerial shots - microUAV?

Hi hb,
> Wow, what a thrill to watch this video - Thanks for sharing :D
> What caught my eye were the following:
1. Awesome photography that covered the entire event...
2. Supers that highlighted each step convincingly...
3. The progressive hold overs with each increasing distance to the target...
4, Crisp editing...
> Your Kalibr Cricket .25 looks fantastic & sure must be a pleasure to shoot with...
> The thrill to see the beer cans being punctured was the icing on the cake
> Well done...

Hi Bennedose!

The shots we recorded in slowmotion.. 240 fps or 1/8 real time, so if you count 5 sec (shot -> impact) divide by 8, that is the real time pellet travel.
So the average velocity in fact is 208 m/s and pellet travel 0,7 s.
Slow motion is more dramatic.. lol. The intention was try to see the pellet during the flying, not happen this time.

The aerial we did using an Hexacopter Drone.

Tks for watching!!
