Thank u for sharing your experience mate:-)

Could you please share how you received the notice from customs and how did you manage to release them etc. so that we shall also try follow your path while dealing with customs if we face any.

As of now we have decided to get the pistols from ehobbyasia.

Hi Umesh,

Thanks for the info:-)The sales manager mailed me directly that they dont entertain orders from India. Still I requested him to help us.

Anyways we looking for other options too:-) :-)

Hi KD ,

I had communicated with Evik.com ,ehobbyasia, airsplat, and many other for air-soft but I had negative response (these are low shipping priced sites), finally I had purchased one GBB from tiger111hk though they send it disassembled and in two parcels with warning that customs may give problem but fortunately I revived both without problem, so I have on GBB now but dare not to do so again, getting Green gas and BB had no problem. later I had imported one more air cocking glock17 high quality polymer made Airsoft pistol this was stuck in customs but , I could able to release it after lots of argument and giving indemnity bond saying that its not weapon just toy gun and I hold all responsibility for any consequences(this was unnecessary but I had to release my Airasoft, bond cost me 400rs. )

I am not discouraging you all, but just sharing experience.

Regards
Uv

hi Mahesh,

I thought full metal would be difficult to to convince customs that its not real firearm or airgun but this glock is polymer made so I took chance , it wasn't disassembled.

Dear Kiran,
What do you advise? Am a bit concerned, if it does get stuck in customs, I do not have any membership of any club to explain. :?

Hi herman,

I also do not have any club membership but I am sure these Airsoft do not need any membership and not firearm nor air gun so I went ready to face argument with customs.

I agree U_vaste,

for this airsoft member ship is not required. Also this pistol we are planning to order is only ABS metal ( almost plastic).

So even if customs ask for it, we can convenience them.

And I read somewhere in this forum that redwolf recently stopped shipping to India due to customs problems. Anybody knows more about it?
Hi,

Thought I should reply regarding the Redwolf's Policy about Airsoft Import to India, since I had written to them about purchasing WE Tech's M9A1 Full Metal GBB Pistol. My Ticket [#45289 - Dated June 06, 2014] on Redwolf was answered by someone Mr. Andy and following is the reply I got in the mail.

"Hi,
Thank you for your email. At the moment we're not shipping airsoft items to India, due to possible Customs issue, thank you."

I guess there is no point in buying anything from the Redwolf Store.

I also raised similar query with ehobbyasia.com. They are ready to ship but want me to sign an Agreement of Shipment mentioning that the Customer will be liable if the item is seized by local Customs or if any risk or legal issues arise due to the import of Airsoft Gun. But, that's O.K. At least they are ready to ship just like Airsoft Tiger.
