What pellet and which rifle?

Nice but all pellets from all rifles do that. The one take home message from your image is that the side levered rifle probably has a rifled barrel so even at 40 meters the pellet has not tumbled. Also, for a pellet to be crushed that way the target has to be unyielding - like a stone slab or metal.

1. What AR did you shoot with - Spring-Piston, Nitro Piston or PCP?
2. The brand, weight & shape of pellet used....
3. How did you measure the distance to know its 40 metres?
Cheers

Brihaji,

Agree. That's why I wanted to know the grain.
Just a guess before we know about the AR... :D might be a spring magnum from Germany....your guess :)

Vassili, I am not allowed to pm you by this site it appears. I answered you in one of my posts wherein I had uploaded the pics of my rifle. @BD..ha ha ..it's shuddh desi thingie. Made in good old Calcutta. I was practising target shooting on a double folded piece of card board, which rested against a plastered cement wall. This pellet shot through the target and hit the wall beyond. :).
