The HK MP5 is 50 years old.
As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

I had the privilege of firing it once. All I can say is the MP5 is only 50 years young and can give a lot of youngsters a run for the money.

That is a cool link FF. The MP-5 is an iconic design and as they said the gold standard of SMGs.IMO.

Have always been a fan of this. Even as a Kid when I saw it in the movies.
And then I got the opportunity to use it several times, and I was never disappointed. Every time..
Even the Indian made bullets (which would jam even the Glock) wouldn't misfire even once...
