Hello from California USA....

Post by cchimni » Mon Jun 04, 2007 5:22 am

Hello,
I am new to this forum. I live in California USA. I was introduced to this forum by my brother-in-law. Both my husband and Brother-in-law are collectors and users of guns of all types. I am an online knife and outdoor gear dealer. So my interests are more in the camping and hunting accessories.. :) I look forward to being a part of this community.

:)

Hi Charity,

Good to see you pop up on here. You don't know me but I do read your posts on British Blades.

A U.S. based knife dealer who could look into sending knives to India is just what IFG needs.

Welcome aboard and do post on the knife section from time to time.

Cchimni,

Welcome aboard. In India, any knife with a blade legth of 9" or less and width of 2" or less can be imported freely and also owned by anybody.Lots of cheap Spanish and Chinese made knives are sold in the country but no good quality knives are on sale in shops here.

Thanks for the warm welcome.... :)
I am near San Francisco... in the East Bay...

It was a sad day to see dealer sales vanish on BB. I hope they return soon...

Thanks for the pointer on the blade size for india... wasn't sure yet...

I post anywhere in the world... :) Please let me know if you are looking for something.. :)

I will post whenever I can... I have some knives I would like to advertise eventually.. :)

My website is there.... still needs tons of work!!! so many things to do and so little time... especially with little ones to look after... :)

Thanks again for the welcome... :)

Charity,

Welcome here. Anyone who belongs to a shooting family in Pelosi (should it be Pessolini to make it mroe accurate? ) land is a brave soul, indeed!

Unlike other forums, we do allow dealer advertising and you are welcome to post your offers in our Classifieds section.

On behalf of the members here, I would like to request you to consider special offers for our members if possible.

Welcome again and good shooting!

Great,
I will list... My husband was born in Banglore. :) He grew up in India.

We went for a turkey hunt a few weeks ago, and they are planning a pig hunt some time soon.. :)

It must have been lovely here then. I only moved here in December 1996 and it had already begun to go the way of most big cities.

Do ask your husband and brother-in-law to join us here.
