brno model1 diameter

Hai,
iam brijesh from karnataka, i have a brno model 1 which i bought recently but lately i realised the front sight is altered. now iam planing to get a classic lyman sight from US but i need to know the berrel diameter. lyman sights are 0.600 and 0.630 inch will it fit my rifle?? . can anyone help me

Er ..... Have you tried measuring the barrel diameter of your rifle ?

All you need is a micrometer - or even a small pair of curved dividers that you can measure against a rule.
You could make a rough measurement using a ruler against the muzzle.
0.600" = 15.24mm. 0.630"= 16.002mm.

As grumpy says use a digital vernier or take an impression of the tip of the barrel and send.
it isn't a tough job '
