My Savage Mark Two in 22 LR

Post by Fateh357 » Mon Nov 18, 2013 2:01 am

Hello Friends ,
My first gun as the title says , savage mark 2 in 22 long rifle and i got bushnell trophy scope on it . Nothing fancy and not very expensive but it is really accurate . As you can see in the picture that it is D M bolt action ,the mag capacity of 10 shots , absolutely zero recoil . It comes in synthetic stock too but i liked the wood stock.Thanks.

That is a nice looking rifle, Fateh. There is even some decent figure in the wood.
Everyone I know who has one of those Savage .22 LR rifles likes them.
What distance were your groups shot at?

Is it the angle of the photo or is the bell of the scope touching the rear sight? If it is, you might want to slide the scope forward a tiny bit to prevent that.

NIce rifle friend,groupings are impressive.
looks like you have to move the scope back, as when you pull the bolt back it seems too close to your cheek. if possible remove the rear sight as XL suggested.

Thanks friends for the valuable tips ......there is very little space between scope and front sight so i guess i will have to move it . Another reason to hit the range on saturday..haha....Sir these were shot at a 50 yards on a really nice day with very little wind.I am really lucky because the place where i live there are about 7 ranges around my house , farthest is half hour drive and nearest is 5 minutes drive.indoors and outdoors , we got it all . Thanks

Not sure he is the member or not but if you are a member then you can find him very easily because, he love Co2 kind of guns .If he post anything about Co2 guns then it mean he is the one.

Don't know when he is going to grow up.I hope he is not wearing a d$%$%.
