Indian Airgun videos
Compared to the total number of air gun videos one can find on YouTube, the number from India is small - and in particular I can find no video that emphasizes air guns as a sport along with safety information. I have made a video for newbies - introducing airguns (springers only) and safety information. I think the idea that shooting is a safe and enjoyable sport to be encouraged is something that I want to promote. I will later add other videos by others on this thread - including some by IFGians whose names I recognized.
I request others to add videos too

Hi Bennedose,
Brilliant - Good script, voice over, camera work & editing
A good intro to a novice air rifle enthusiast.
The straw demo conveys the exact principle behind an air rifle's working.
Safety rules well documented.
Great work sir
Frankly I too make films & AVs (have a diploma) - made over 50/60 mostly for products & application - Engineering & Crop protection, corporate etc.
Somehow never got around to making one on ARs - although it in the back of my mind
Let's have more of these

Re: Indian Airgun videos
Thanks for your positive comments. Although I have been fascinated by guns since I was five years old and have been an air gun enthusiast for 35 years (at least) I find that people around me have no clue about guns. Psychologically many Indians seem to be brought up with the idea that guns have a negative connotation. This is surprising considering that Dussehra is here and Ayudha Pooja - where weapons and tools are shown a mark of respect are stablished in popular culture is days away. My belief is that we need to fill "info-space" with stuff that shows that guns are just like other tools and are a part of society and useful for entertainment and sport without any killing needing to be done.
I had posted a news item about a javelin injuring a boy. Sport has evolved from the military. You cannot ban sport. Ban javelins, they are dangerous. Ban swimming - you can drown. Ban guns they are killers. No. Guns need to be demystified and the rules need to be well known
I have a well heeled young friend - two decades younger than me. He said he has an air rifle. I asked him to bring it in his car to our workplace so I could see it. He thought it was illegal to carrry in in public. wtf? This is an educated man. We in India have a long way to go and I will do what I can.

Your SDB does not look old at all.

Re: Indian Airgun videos
The Soft drink can found to be most excited amongst all.
Yes , that is what plinking is all about.
My favourites are Deo cans and pencil cells but I always run short of that.
It depends on my given days fitness that which gun I pick to plink for the day.
Presently it is SDB 45 .The National 25 gets chance in between but most powerful Local-35 hardly gets any chance these days.
Nice video indeed.....
