BRIHA’S NEW BLADES
BRIHA’S NEW BLADES
Hi Guys,
I had always nursed a desire to own a “Buck Folder”, especially their model 110 Hunter.
Luckily it turned out to be a ‘DOUBLE WHAMY’ as a Buck 110 Hunter Folder & a “Smith & Wesson – Extreme Ops Folder were gifted to me!
The excitement never seemed to end … One more classic blade got added to my trove…
This was no gift – but acquired… ‘A GLOCK 78’ fixed blade field knife (Kind courtesy MOIN)
BUCK 110 Hunter – Folder
Blade length: 3-3/4” / Clip Point
Blade: 420HC stainless steel
Handle: Natural grained wood
Locking: Ridge type
Weight: 220gms
S&W Extreme Ops – Folder
Blade length: 3 ½” / Drop Point
Blade: Stainless steel (400 series) with black coating
Handle: Aluminum with CAMO design
Locking: Embedded Lever
Built-in Seat-belt cutter & windshield breaker
Weight: 155gms
GLOCK 78 Field Knife – Fixed Blade
Blade length: 6 ½” – Overall length 11” / Drop Point
Blade: Spring steel - RH 50-55 with black non-reflective coating
Handle: Slip resistant Polymer
Weight: 215gms
The cross bar protects the hand, helps as a thumb rest & serves as a bottle opener
Perfectly balanced for throwing
Sheath: KYDEX

Beautiful knives Brihaji. S&W to me looks the best in the lot. The gap in the grips doubles up as seat belt cutter nice touch.

It also started with me the same way after I took interest in the 'Blade Section' - And thanks to Moin, Slingshot, Mack and the rest of blade afficianados' - the rest is history in the making!
I still have the 1 1/2" blade pocket knife my Grandpa presented me on my 12th birthday
Believe me in those days 'presenting a pocket knife' to boy coming of age was the done thing...

I am trying to reinstate the custom. The WIP Boker clone, when finished, goes to my son. With appropriate safety training.Believe me in those days 'presenting a pocket knife' to boy coming of age was the done thing...
Cheers!

A knife makes me feel stronger, keeps my temper down and gives me the courage to fight for the right. If I am wrong, don't correct me...
