Custom Trigger Blade for IHP

Hai Guys,
Its me again with a Custom/DIY work regarding air rifles. My favorite rifle all he time it's the IHP National 35
I was very fond of FT/10m air rifle trigger blades. Simple but very attractive.
Thought of making one for IHP, Started the work and finished it as i wanted it to be. May be

I used Aluminium because it gives a silver look and very easier to work on.

Basic shape was cut with square ends.

Then the edge was blended.

Then the trigger was cut into Two pieces, I was very heavy hearted

A hex nut was filed in its two edges and inserted in the gap

It was welded using gas welding and the trigger assembly was fitted (The trigger blade was sized and Polished)

Now its time to see it in position finally.

Good work Satya. I have been looking for a machine shop that will do custom work for me in Bangalore the way you have done. Maybe I have not searched hard enough.

Sathya , you are quite the man ....interesting innovations all the time!!

if I may. why don't you use a bolt as shown below. that way the threaded part can not be seen.

Bennedose....if you are in Bangalore , try Siddiah Road ( that's off Double Road). lots of machine shops there. when I am in B'lore I get all my tinkering work done there. just take it easy first visit....what I mean is don't land up there with the gun ! start slow with piston , tube etc and once you gain their trust , anything goes. those guys are highly skilled.....problem is getting them to listen !! and of course , pay half of what is asked for labour.

Thanks. That is really useful info and the place is really close to where I live. will start there. I have been meaning to get someone to fashion a modified rear sight for my SDB because that is its weak spot. My hacks work but they are not pretty.

I am searching for a screw like the same, I too dint like the thread of the screws visible, will get it update the work soon as possible.

I have some advantages over the factory trigger blade, My finger fits exactly in the curve of the trigger blade.
The factory blade was positioned a bit in the front so my small finger were finding it hard to reach it, I have positioned my custom trigger blade a bit in the back so that now my finger reaches the trigger blade easily.
