Ah thanks. Sorry to keep on the subject - but I use Linux - just curious. I have forgotten what happens in Microsoft programs. Can you save powerpoint presentations as a video file? I do a lot of video work otherwise.

Back to Topic Guys,
Some more of the work is completed now.
My dad liked to paint the stock in Black so in order to fulfill his idea, i decided to go with his Idea.
Go some polishing powder (Similar to a primer used for steel) and a spray paint tin and some fine grit paper and some wood finish (Varnish)

Powder was mixed with fevicol was applied and let it to dry overnight
After finishing the polishing with grit paper and little water
Image
checkering was left untouched
Image
Now lets get ready for painting

Checkering and some parts were covered with tape

And painted it

had left it to dry, And varnish is to be applied on the checkering.
Will post the pictures of finished product soon.

Again the same continuation of the topic.
The paint did not take much time to get dry,
After that i just removed the tape from the checkering and then applied a coat of varnish to the checkering in order to make it shining
Image
And left it to dry and Everything was fitted to be back in place, Thats it Work is completed! :D
I liked it and my father liked it too. Dont know weather you all will like it or not
Anyway HERE IT IS!

So the stock has evolved from this to here

Nice work, Sathya!

Personally, I prefer a wooden stock to be wood finished, but your work is really really good. Tremendous attention to detail!!
Cheers!

I too prefer a wooden finish, But this was my dad's wish to make it black.
Actually My uncle has a .22 Lr with a black stock and brown checkering. My dad liked it a lot so asked to do the same, i did as per my dad's wish. :)

The stock shown is ISW mod 35 and the rifle to be attached is ISW 50 (stock broken). So some small adjustments are to be done to make it fit perfectly. Will post results soon.

Hi Sathya,
> Very good flash documentation of your DIY on stock modification :D
> I can appreciate your efforts because I am connected with this activity & also used to teach film making!
> The intro graphics are done well with approprite SFX :D
> One small suggestion > Instead of using red color for supers you should've used reverse lettering (white on black band) makes easy readability.
> Waiting to see the final pic with action & scope mounted :D
> Finally your basic engineering approach such as scaling, drawing the application markings, masking etc are commendable!!!
