we couldn't get a close up with the female.and by now James harper was convinced that where there is sambhar there will be tiger.

the same evening we had a nother jeep safari in a different zone.by then rain had stopped and where waiting for some more wild animals.our luck didn't fail us this time.

Keep them coming - What camera & lens was used for these pics?
Were they taken on auto exposure or with manual settings?
Here's a bit of 'gyan' for all photographers.....
"With Auto Exposure you get photographs of what the camera thinks is the right exposure - But when you take photographs with manual settings - You don't take a photograph - You Create One"
For example - For taking pics with manual settings one invariably has to use a light meter - Herein you get a combination of aperture / shutterspeed options - Hence you can create a photograph to express your vision of the image...
End result is you don't take 'say cheese & click' type of of pics - But photogrqaphs that tell a story!

thank you mr.moin .brihaji,i used nikon dslr5100,lens nikkor 70-300mm.as i told the pics are in NEF(RAW)format,when we have to send pics through mail it has to be converted to jpeg format,so is the loss of resolution.if brihaji is interested i can send you a original pics in a memory card .
