Celebrating Brihaji's 75th Birthday

Post by Moin. » Sat Jul 20, 2013 10:29 am

Dear All;

Brihaji turned 75 on 12th July 2013. He is perhaps IFG's youngest member till date :mrgreen: . We were planning a get together to celebrate this as a surprise party. Unfortunately he had to travel down south to attend some wedding etc, we postponed this till 19th. With two new members joining the CM gang Brig.Xerxes and Lawyerme wee decided to meet at the Army Club in Colaba. AGN, Slingshot and Pratik could not attend due to other work and personal committments.

SdDa took a few pics with his new smartyphone :D and therefore you can't see him in the pic above. Few others took some pics as well. Request them to post.

Cheers

Had a gala time yesterday celebrating Brihaji's birthday in downtown Mombai
Knowing new friends, Getting a peek into a whole new (for me) different world of knives, Lanceman's stories, Brihaji's jokes.

Pic with SDda that I clicked is here that completes the who is who.

P.S. Gotta get me self a Swiss Champ now as I was the only un-initiated one in this knife club.

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

Congratulations Brihaji.
It look like you had a pretty good birthday. I hope you have many more.
