my antithesis...more pics

Post by marthandan » Fri Jul 05, 2013 11:13 am

in general, i like my blades to be fat, wide, stout, etc but not this type of knife that i am making. at the mention of this knife, the mind conjures up an image of a big, hefty, wide and brutish blade bit i like it sleek and slim. it will be a large knife with a 8.5" blade and a overall length of 13.5". will post more pics as i progress

Hi Marty,
> By the description of the finished blade its bound to look mean & awesome :D
> BTW the serrations on the spine look very professionally cut - Are they hand filed or machine cut?
> Eagerly waiting to see the finished product :D

@ brihaji...the "serrations" are cuts made using a triangular diamond file. the filework will be finished after the flats of the blade have been taken to their final grit.
