J.W.Laird & Co cape gun

Gentlemen
I have a cape gun with this name on,address is Bishops gate,London.Black powder proof,16 bore,and I belive .577\450.Shotgun barrel marked with "Choke",and rifle marked only.440.Jones Screw Grip,backaction,rebounding locks.Plain gun,no engraving.Good,shootable condition.
Any info?

Listed in Birmingham trade guide at 10, Steelhouse Lane in 1849. Other evidence ( ? ) indicates est. 1848.
6, Bishopsgate Street Without, London, 1889-1896.
Supplied Birmingham trade guns.
