Measure your trigger pressure it will be 1.5 to 1.8 kg...for any further reduction some more fine work is necessary...

Good work, I have got the tune kit from target tun India, Please can you tell me how to reduce the trigger pressure in IHP one of my IHP has a really hard trigger, so It affects Accuracy badly.
Please can you help me to solve this problem, Kindly post some pics of the work if possible.

Dear Sathya,
All you need to do is to give diamond polish on both the interfaces of sear and trigger with 220+grit sand paper with the caution that the 90° angle of the sear remains intact.
Apply very little TTI moly on the interfaces and reassemble.
You can measure the pull by hanging weight on trigger.
Any thing less than 1500 gms is risky and has got probablity of accidental fire.
pl do things with extreme caution.

Try to give a very little round shape to the sear of piston rod.
Very very fine polishing known as diamond polish in the direction of trigger pull..
and after that you will not believe that it was your rifle...

i have bleeded me couple of times during tuning.....

someday i will post the whole make over of IHP..
along with proper honing process..with pictures........

Could you please tell me what is TTI Moly and where it could be obtained?
I have seen JMs Moly Paste and such other (overpriced) items in India, and am looking at alternatives for metal to metal lubrication (piston, trigger - sear, spring guides etc).

I am also thinking of mixing Synthetic oil with graphite powder to get a thick paste instead of Moly.. any inputs?

Dear friends,
I have an IHP 35 B, .22. I have got a scope and facing some problems fixing it on the air rifle. I am interested in doing everything myself and I am seeking expert advise from the forum members regarding correct fixing of the scope. Some photos of my gun and scope rail is attached.The scope rail shown in the picture is made by myself and the material is Mild steel. The scope rail has three equally spaced holes (counter sunked) on it for screwing it to the reciver tube.I will be grateful if somebody having experience on the topic, answer the following questions.

1. What is the best material for making scope rail?
2.What is the correct type of screw for fixing(Specify diameter,length, pitch of the thread and name) of the screw?
3. Is there any method other than screwing it to the tube?
4. What is the correct method to align the scope axis to the Barrel axis?
I am attaching some photos of my scope rail and gun. More photos are uploaded on the photo bucket.Scope on the barrel shown is not fixed but balanced on tube to take photos!!

The stock supplied with My gun was very bad quality. This stock is made by me and the wood is costly Malabar Rosewood. The wood is wonderful and tight grained and checkering is difficult.

Dear Brihacharanji,
The original stock of my IHP was full of holes filled with some black putty and was short to cover the full length of receiver tube. So i decided to change it like some foreign air rifles and bought the log from a sawmill , wood router, and angle grinder and made it myself. The checkering is hand made and the trigger guard is also custom made from a bronze sheet using a high rpm hand rotory tool.
The checkering tool is also self made using steel and oil hardened to get sharp edges.I felt, Checkering an extremely time consuming job in Hardwood like rosewood. Before checkering smoothen the wood surface using different grades of sand paper and apply two coats of melamine wood finish. After checkering once again give a light coat of Melamine. The surface finish obtained on the rosewood is amazing and it feel like silk.
