Amazing what you can find ......

I`ve been rooting around in some old boxes of `stuff` and have so far found two rifle scopes - nothing remarkable but not to be sneezed at ..... a 6X42 Hawke and a 4x32 Nikko Stirling, a load of radio related bits and pieces including an FM Broadcast transmitter that I built back in the `80s - I`ve got an idea that`s supposed to be 10 watts RF out. ( Yeah, I did used to do some weird and wonderful things - the transmitter was built for Radio Avalon, the Glastonbury Festival station, back in it`s `pirate` days..... ) a brand new, unused ( still in it`s packing ) digital caliper gauge ...... Several pairs of headphones - studio and hi-fi ..... and a load of other gun related stuff including some old Brownells catalogues which are always interesting to peruse. It`s made me realise that somewhere there`s at least one other rifle scope - a Simmons of some description. That`ll bring my scope collection to seven when I find it. I`m now going to sort-out some of the old Practical Wireless, Short Wave Magazine and QST magazines dating back to the `70s and `80s. Happy times ahead !
