compressor for scuba tank

somewhere i have heard that scuba tanks can be filled with a compressor if so please give me details

yes of course! you just need a compressor that can fill up the scuba tank to the required Psi or BAR

you can not use any old compressors. need to have one which is made for scuba

Bauer makes them and they start at about 2+ Lacs each...
They can fill upto 300 bar...

thanks for your responses
i want to use the scuba tank only for filling my pcp air rifle(marauder) soputting 2+lacs for compressor is too much
please give me some idea to fill scuba tank regularly.cant i use normal compressor for filling scuba tank.

otherwise if you live in a metropolitan area, maybe your friendly neighborhood fire services may have the necessary equipment to fill up your scuba tank.

try vaibhav oxygen delhi 01130881994-he cant offer scuba tanks for more than abt 200 bars-i really cant comment on their safety issues.please keep us updated because i m also intereseted

I would try to find a hand /stirrup pump a little more hard work but you would never run out
