Welcome Mr Harjasdeep !
. Safe shooting. Reg. your query, mount any scope rated for rimfire and please do not over do it in terms of magnification . 3 to 7 X will suffice. Secondly IOF .22 is presently supplied with walnut wood stock , so do some mods as per your dimensions. thirdly shortening the barrel is illegal and will definitely tell upon muzzle velocity ,range and accuracy. As far as the price for this is concerned, you are a fine candidate for fleecing.

Hi Harjasdeep,

1. scope would cost your anywhere from 5k-100k or more. But I personally recommend to go for something of low range (5-15k) and preferably fixed scope 4x would be fine.
2. as our friend said above, there are a lot of mods that can be done depending on your comfort. I made a cheek rest for mine.
3. Its illegal and for obvious reasons mentioned above.

Cheers

Legality aside, shortening a barrel does not affect accuracy. With a .22 RF, where a barrel length of 16-18" gives the highest velocity, it may even increase velocity.

Shortening a barrel is not illegal. However these conditions are to be observed:

1. The job is to be done by a licensed gunsmith.

2. It cannot be reduced to below 20".

Please refer to the Arms Act.
