Serial Numbers,Years of Manufacture&Proof-Marks

Post by Vikram » Sat Aug 25, 2012 6:41 pm

One of the often asked questions here is about serial numbers and years of manufacture.

This file provides you serial numbers and corresponding years of most of the manufacturers including the British best.

I thought most of you like to have a reference for various proof-marks. The file is attached to the post for download or you can download from the link.Plenty other interesting stuff on this website.

Dear Members

I want to know if somebody has the record that contains the year of manufacure
for Webley revolvers B series as one of my friend want to know the exact year of
manufacture of his B series. I have checked the webley site but they are charging
for the duplicate sale invoice, so if somebody has the records from which one can
know the exact year of manufacture of Webley B series revolver.

Regards,Amit

I am sure USA make . 36 inch barrel 3 inch chamber and 1 1/4 choke . And lookalike Winchester . Very light weight with pretty performance . Any one can help me to find the manufacturer.

Please start a new thread under the shotguns section here and post photos of the gun with clear close ups of all markings.
