What I don't understand is that even before you purchased the Precihole, you said you didn't like how it was made. Why did you buy it?
Dear SriramK,
What I could understand from namcmd's reply is that ;
" In his first opinion he pointed to certain bad things he saw in Precihole air rifle. But then, some senior members posted good reviews . After going through those goody-goody reviews, he became interested and bought the Orion.
Regards,
Abbas

HI Namcacd, namcmd wrote:u_vaste, please look my images. i am recommended to my nearest dealers about precihole, i am not lying. 2 months ago i saw PH rifles some peoples. only saw not shot. i have posted my first opinion. But some senior members reviewed about PH,i am interested and buy one.
i have attached images again... please look,
This is international quality ? you not bilive? i will post videos tomorrow.
you bought it locally and selected this AR in-spite of all those problems? you should have rejected it and let dealer send massage to company about quality. I feel , those signs might be possible with rough handling or deliberate tampering or in transportation as well , I am not saying that you deliberately done it or responsible for it , But thanks for caution. as I said I delayed my decision and will wait till this gun gets well settled in market may be by that time this relishsport could find work around for getting Imported AR for non club members. those AR would be available from Rs.8000/- onward.

Dear u_vaste,
Is Relishsports selling imported air rifles to non club members ? One of my friends, who is not a member of any club, is very much interested in buying RWS 350 or Airking 54 or Mod.34.
Kindly advise.

Abbas

Re: PreciHole AirGun Review
one more hope going down the drain. just a few question guys. why cant a buyer question the quality of the product that he is buying? why the company cant take the orders and pass it on to the nearest dealer? interested people keep asking about the cost of freight to south india. the only option that we have is joy biswas (god bless him ).to send the product from kolkata to south india will obviously cost him more. a product that is made in mumbai/pune being carted to unscrupulous dealers who set their own prices will not promote sales but restrict it. a glowing review by a select few will promote initial sales not future sales. i may not be a expert on airguns but i do know when people try to take me for a idiot. a perfume sprayed on bullshit will not last longer than the bullshit itself. i am sorry for for using such foul words, but when i see so many people trying to create a legend out of an infant, i smell a freshly disposed used diaper. i do know that after this post there will many critical responses.( about this being the first indian attempt to give us a worldclass product ) i am not against it, on the contrary i was hoping for it to be a success. but this is how you set the ball in motion.

Re: PreciHole AirGun Review
I just bought the Precihole Orion today from Hassandas Hemdas next to Crawford Market. Gun seemed fine and a lot better than the other local offerings. First impression was good but after just 50 shots, the trigger has gotten stuck. Took the pellet out, double checked the safety and tried to work it but it remains stuck. Very disappointed to see this defect in a brand new gun. Will take it back to the dealer on Monday and hope for a quick solution.

The allen screw that holds the trigger blade can work loose and cause the trigger blade to swivel and stick or gall the sides of the cut-out. Is the face of the trigger blade at an angle now but stuck or is it swivelling?Boomshiva wrote:I just bought the Precihole Orion today from Hassandas Hemdas next to Crawford Market. You were right to remove the pellet but I assume you have a cocked air-rifle and dry firing an air-rifle isn't recommended.
If the trigger blade is swivelling, keep it straight and tighten the allen screw without removing the stock if possible. Maintain forward pressure on the trigger blade at all times to avoid an inadvertent dry fire. If you are able to straighten and tighten the trigger blade without a dry fire, load the air-rifle and fire into your backstop / pellet catcher.
If the trigger blade is angled but stuck, try and lever it loose using something suitable. All allen key or screwdriver shank, padded pliers, etc. and then do as mentioned above. Maintain forward pressure to avoid a dry fire throughout.
If the trigger blade is straight and not touching the sides try cocking the rifle again. If you hear a click, load a pellet and shoot it at your back stop.

Re: PreciHole AirGun Review
Fantastic shooting & grouping, namcmd. Congratulations. gsmith High speed .22 cal pellets on an air rifle target seemed to have grouped nicely. They all seem to have flattened out consistently post impact, so free to assume that there was not much fluctuation in speed (fps).
A few Qs & suggestions though - hope OK by you ?
1. Was the AR rested, vise-gripped or hand-held ? If free hand-held, you are one fine shooter.
2. High speed .22 cal from gsmith are the ones that are pointed with the ring akin to the high impact ones, right ? Have you tested with flatheads or any other brands ? I think these high impact design ones will tend to tear the target post-impact as well, since the paper is almost stuck to the metal; hence larger tear.
3. I feel Air Rifle target is a tad smaller for 10 shots from .22 cal. May be the Air pistol target would be better suited to the 10 from .22 cal. Gurus, please shed the light.
4. The rear sight that is all the way up could be brought down by CW clicks to push the shots group up. When it's up wrt foresight that would imply that the foresight is below level which tends to push down the shots.
5. The group could also have been shifted a tad to the right (by a ring or two) by appropriate ACW clicks since the group appears a bit left of center.
All said and done, good job and thanks for sharing with the picture.

I could not understand your point, dear AGN,
The breadth of the target paper appears to be not less than 6 inches. The shots are spread across the whole breadth of the target paper. It appears to be at least 6 inches grouping. And you say it is fantastic grouping.
I did not expect a 6 inches grouping from the so called world class Air Rifle costing 10,000/-

Abbas

The trigger is straight and stuck tight. No swivel or anything. Being cocked till Monday is going to be bad for the spring for sure but I'm a novice and don't know any other option. Not a pleasant first day ownership experience. I hope they rectify the problem - both trigger and check out the spring without much delay. Hoping for the best.

What you see are flattened pellets not pellet holes.
