I am purchased from Twins Armory Trivandrum.




i have zeroed in 10 meter with the elevation screw maximum up. i caanot make zeroing in 15 meter, the elevation screw loosen.
After 15 Shots, rear site pin loosen (see image). All Stock Screws are Alignkey Type, need 2 type align key for tightening stock srews.
Totaly avarage quality stock and rear sight. breach seal loose, after every shot need 1 press in breach seal.
I cannot see, some persons said "international quality". Same as chinees products.
(i am very week in english, othervise i write more... and please dont ask anything more. anyone want more details in malayalam or tamil please pm me i will give my mobile number.)

Some side by side pics with your Weirhauch 77 would have been nice, but since you are reluctant to post more won't ask for it.

Forget about shooting a Precihole Air Rifle , I have never even held one in my hands .
Never really liked the polymer stock .
The first post of this thread was made in Nov 29 , 2012 ; I hope the quality and fit n finish of Precihole has improved by leaps and bounds .
Looking from the second image of the first post , I can say that a Rs 3600 Deluxe Model 35 in .22 has a better rear sight . We ( me and my cousins ) put approx 250- 300 pellets through the barrel on the first day , and nothing came loose or fell off .

And why is Precihole using a chisel lock mechanism , when air rifles way less expensive that it are employing ball catch mechanism ?
The Rs 3600, Deluxe Model 35 & the Rs 6000 , SDB 2000 are using ball catch mechnism . I have been quoted a price of Rs 9500 for the Precihole Orion .

It may sound like I am bashing Precihole , then again , Precihole is giving me all the reasons to do so .

Horrible sights..terrible finish. After several bad reviews from all over the country, I don't understand what makes you still buy it. Do you guys love getting your guns with loose barrels, bad sights, etc? Open the box, and send it for immediate repairs? Funny buyers...

I exchanged an old Weihrauch HW 35 for a brand new Precihole Orion a few months ago.

The Weihrauch was giving the same problem mentiioned above - that is to say that even maximum elevation of the rear sight was useless in getting pellets to hit the target. The elevation screw would simply come off. Power was down anyway and I was bored with that ridiculously long rifle.

I loved the Orion from the minute I fired the first shot. It is every bit as powerful as the Weihrauch was when I bought it new. And it is supremely accurate. It so happened that I also bought a brand new IHP 35 a few months ago. In general the IHP and the Orion are equally accurate, but most times it seems like the Orion is marginally more powerful. This is based on fps alone but in terms of effect at 35 to 40 meters both are the same. Most of my shooting is done at 20 meters so both are very enjoyable.

The IHP has no grooves for a scope mount.

The Orion has 11mm dovetail grooves but no notch for a stop. I mounted an old scope on a single piece mount that I ordered from DX.com and the scope held firm but is is not a springer rated scope and the cross hairs moved.

But no, I think the Orion is a perfectly good rifle. It's sights are of slightly better quality than that of the IHP and way way better than the sights of other Indian springers. Incidentally the rear sight is better than the one I got with the Weihrauch.

After reading all the complaints about orion im totally confused now . Is it like one in every ten rifle have these issues or all of them ? If all the parts starts to worn out and come off after 50 to 100 shots then whats the point in buying this rifle ?!

I think that the people who have faced problems rightly do complain and only the complaints are seen because the people who are having no problems are not writing anything much. I have an Orion which is the most powerful and accurate rifle I own. It is lighter, easier to handle and has better sights that an Weihrauch HW35 I used to own (which costs several times as much) and is just as powerful as the HW 35

I also have an IHP 35 which is only marginally less powerful (insignificant in real terms) than the Orion - and is every bit as accurate. But it costs less. Both rifles have screws that work loose after a few shots. The vicious two way recoil cannot b avoided. This is a fact of life with all spring powered air rifles.The cure is a screwdriver. If you want power without the vibration of a spring then invest in a PCP, or better still a Lee Enfield .303

In my view there are currently two Indian brands at the top of the heap - the Precihole and the IHP. I also have an old SDB brand whose qualities I am only now discovering and I would call SDB as another good brand. I have been reviewing various Indian brands as I can lay my hands on them. I serviced and reviewed a SISCO 90 air rifle on this forum a few days ago. It is the worst air rifle I have laid my hands on in my life.

With an air rifle, ultimately you are looking at hitting targets that you shoot at if you don't want to get bored and frustrated with shooting. That leaves you pretty much only with Precihole (Orion or the others) and IHP in my view.

Hmm that makes perfect sence ... awesom explanation by the way .... those sdb rifles are every where in chennai ...they look pretty rouged though , its all metal and wood no plastic parts !
