Hi Brothers... has any members any information regarding jewelling of bolt being made in India ? My friend wants to decorate his

friend,
i had seen a post long back someone doing this on his 315 rifle bolt,not very sure where but,guess ....it could be in rifle section.

Not at all what he is looking for. Jeweling the bolt body, not checkering the bolt knob.

Not at all what he is looking for. Jeweling the bolt body, not checkering the bolt knob.
ok ok ok bolt knob checkering.i haven't seen anyone down south doing bolt jeweling.

Aloha,

If you do get the bolt jewelled, be aware that it must be oiled or cared for more than a regular blued bolt.

If you live in a humid area, it may have a tendency to Rust more since all surface treatment has been removed.

All my bolt rifles are left in normal finish or blued.

Here is an exammple of a jeweled Beretta 96(40SW) barrel and the gun it's in.
