Walther 1250 Dominator

Hello guys.
I was planning on buying an Air rifle after a long time with my Saviour .177.
After much looking into forums i finally decided that i couldnot import on because i didnt have the membership of any shooting club ( Here in orissa , the one and only rifles club is i. Talcher and they dont seem to admit anyone except their siblings ).
So i was on the hunt for a rifle already imported.
I came across a website, so curiously i enquired about the availability of Walther 1250 Dominator 4.5mm 23 joules version.
and there it was...
The quoted price was 1.15 lakhs. On the contrary It was prices at some 600odd $ at http://www.pyramydair.com.
Now the question is should i or should i not go for it???

its too much for an air rifle.
better check for second hands here.

@Paresh : I live in talcher. I enquired from a friend of mine about the whereabouts and he asked some member who gave the reply that only relatives of current members are alowed.
Am still enquirying from all sources but still havent got any specific answers as every1 says " dekhiba , kahaku pachariki kahibi". And i have got very less friends in Talcher left as all of them are away with. their jobs.

I sincerely apologize for saying that Talcher rifles club doesnot admit anyone other than their siblings.
Infact they were very helpful in the matter and my friend was absolutely wrong in the matter.

I am also looking to buy the same gun, and have found an authorized dealer from their website who can get this for u much cheaper now that u have the membership. You should check out their dealer network to find a dealer near you in India.

@Jas123: I havent got the same but have bought a Stayr LG110 Match for less cost.
I have seen a Walther Dominator here with one of my uncles. Its a good rifle.
I suggest you also take a look at Evanix AR4( .177 cal version of AR6) as this has got a beautiful stock and the power (60j @ .177cal)more that the dominator(40j@ .22cal).
Although i havent purchased anything from http://www.relishsports.com who is the online retailer, i would advise to check with him.

1 lakh plus is a lot of money for an Umarex gun bearing a Walther sticker, however good it may be. A bit like paying Honda prices for a Maruti

Thanks Sitharth ... Will check out the gun u have recommended. As for power, I was at the authorized distributer for walther yesterday and he informed me that Europe (maybe only Germany) has put a restriction on exports on guns higher than 23j out of europe/Germany.. Nothing to do with India.. It's their internal law now. So if I have to use their official distributer to import I can get anything higher than 23j... Or order it from relishsports.com or another online store in the US etc..

Where did u get you LG110 match from and how much did u pay for it??

Yes it is something around 40k from Relishsports for the .177 cal but for the .22cal 40joules the price is too much...
So i suggested to look for Evanix AR4 which jas more power in .177cal than the dominator in .22cal.

I want to buy walther 1250 .22 with combo (scope + case + bipod ). The price I'm getting is around 1k to 1.30k in Delhi.

However, there are various weird gun dealers who ask for 50% advance with no secure guarantee of delivery/intact piece. More importantly, I feel like I am risking the 50% advance to these shady dealers.

I checked with walther dealer but they can only import .177 while I want .22 and also which would take 6 weeks for delivery. That much patience would kill me.

Can someone please guide/advise me in this regards ?
