Match Rifle for Clubs and Bigginers - Brno with Match Stock

Hi Guys,

The hard work paid off. So much running around, pleasing customs and postal officials and my match stock and peep sights for Brno are finally here. Below are the snaps of the unpacking and first view. I will put together a vintage (yet accurate) Brno on to this match stock. My goal is to provide a cheap conversion kits for clubs so that they can encourage new comers and those who don't want to invest too much on expensive peep sights. The complete conversion costs somewhere around Rs. 40,000 (depending up on the $ and Euro conversion rate of course).

First of all congrats for your effort and innovative purchase.is this conversion kit a ready to fit in condition?.Can we mount brno model 1 and model 2 with this stock?.please post a step by step method of converting your current rifle to a match grade peep sight with pics.It will be informative to all of us as we cannot own a peepsight unless a renowned shot.

Hi Guys, Sorry but the final assembly will have to wait a little longer. I need some screws and the height adjustment plate will have to be remachined. Due to Diwali I will have to wait few more days.

I am planning to get more pieces exported. A rifle club wants me to convert three of their Brnos. I am also in communication with this company to get me the similar stock made out for IOF 0.22. As I said my objective is to get cheaper option for Rifle Clubs.

At the moment the stock manufacturing company does not have any option for Brno Mod 1. They only have Mod 2 and CZ452 at the moment.

we cannot own a peepsight unless a renowned shot..

Renjith, I might have misunderstood your comment but in my understanding one can very well own a peep sight. The sight itself can be imported- members on the forum have imported them. Even the IOF .22 and 30.06 have 11 mm dovetails on which these stock sights can be fit. I was offered a CZ peep sight for about $110 + shipping charges.

Though its true- a truly match grade rifle - peep sight or otherwise- can only be imported by a renowned shot.

@ SS what I intended to tell by peep sight is that "match grade .22 lr like anshutz". And what you told is right we can convert an open sight rifle to a peep sight but I think it won't help much as adjustments in the rifle doesn't even come near to a match grade rifle.Even if a person is a good shooter he needs nice quality of jacket and sling ,good quality ammo( imported) and mainly an imported match grade rifle.

Both Renjith and SS are are correct, you don't have to be renowned shot to import peep sights and stock. This is only a cheaper option for clubs to own entry level peep sight rifles. Considering NRAI only allows three shooters per Rifle it is next to impossible for a new shooter to get his hands on. Anyways the conversion is now finished. Have a look at the snaps.

Designed the Bi pod stand and adjustable sling adapter for this stock. Hopefully by next weekend will machine and our Brno will be ready for live test.
