I would say there is no need to find anything out from the authorities. If you have a legal licence that says five shot repeater and a semi auto has been endorsed on it even if by mistake or before the ban, which is most likely here, then raising queries now may only land in an uncomfortable situation. As far as the gun is concerned I think you need to check the recoil spring and use fresh ammo.
