That's a magpie robin. A common bird this side. Unlike the Tomtit , this one is probably a little larger in size and has a head which is proportionate to it's body. Else it is very similar.

Your snaps are amazing. The countryside is beautiful. Looking forwards to more snaps in the future.

Himalayan Black Bear. Known for their temper in a zoo in Himachal.

OK guys, no wildlife but my wife came from India last month before we met for USA 2012 and then I uploaded the pictures here and there.

Comes this picture from my wife's camera. Our house back home and you can see the back yard where we used to have our cows and buffalos.

25 years later, I'm millionaire.

A couple more pictures from last weekend.

I got to the top of the mountain but there wasn't much game there apart from myself.

The snow was unusual because it fell in a fine wind-blown powder that penetrated the forest and coated every leaf and branch in the forest.

Sorry, I don't have much in the way of game bird photos. I specialise more in the photography of four footed creatures.

But this is a property with both chukar and Californian quail in addition to its larger game animals.
