Stopping a bullet

Post by xl_target » Thu Sep 27, 2012 10:58 am

Well, with a camera, at least.
High shutter speed video of a Ruger SR9C caught in the act of firing a bullet.
Pretty interesting

I guess the cameras that do show those kinds of pictures are beyond what most ordinary users obtain. It would be interesting to see what a key holing bullet looks like, or perhaps one of the unstable bullets (303 British or 5.56) would look like the moment they impact and begin to tumble.

I do have to make my smart Alec comment, however: Lucky for the photographer that he chose something easy, like a bullet, rather than Rajinikanth twirling a cigarette!
