do i require any license,permit or shooting club membership to purchase air rifles?

Can you tell me any site which sells air rifles which have 800-1200 fps pellet force?

any one can buy an air rifle, there are many sites which sell rifles with that kind of power.But why do you want it?
I would rather hit my target gently than miss hard.
