Knifejunkie is right , the kirpans are no longer in production and have become some what of a collectors item demanding high prices.

Not sure if both the Victorinox kirpans are out of production. At least the smaller one was available till a year ago with dealers in Delhi. The larger one, with some lines from Guru Granthsahib etched on the blade had run into controversy when they first appeared about a decade ago with several Sikh religious leaders raising objection to a foreign knife maker quoting from a religious scripture without consent of the community. The matter was apparently sorted out and the knife was available across India for years though in small numbers probably because Sikhs who carry kirpans prefer the traditional ones.

Re: victorinox kirpan
Victorinox Kirpan looks great but let me tell you the steel used in not so. The knife wears very fast.
These are still available with Victorinox stores across India. Otherwise one can always Muela, these are the same knives, just don't have Kirpan inscribed on them & a different or rather better sheath.
