Jonah, 3 lakh is a very good price for a S&W of this series. It would cost you at least a couple of lakhs more in other parts of the country. If the rifling is OK and and the action is tight (from the looks of it it seems they are) then go for it. After seeing the pics my experience says this weapon has been carried and fired but maintained well.

Hi Jonah,

I have fired this one several times and faced no issues wid it (one that takes 6 rounds) and this one seems to be the same.

Though i have come across some youtube videos where people had some issues with the 617, that takes 10 in the chamber.
