Hello Bespoke,

You truly live up to your name. I too am a James Bond fanatic.
Haven’t been able to graduate beyond an Omega Seamaster and a PPK.
Maybe someday, a DB 5.

Hi Nitroexpress,

I am glad Mr Bond is back on PPK in Skyfall.

A Tom Ford shirt and a suit and Church shoes will be a much more economical upgrade before DB5 :P they do have good discounts at times!

Cheers!

Sorry bit off topic

It is sad that with coming of Pierce Brosnan the producers moved to Brioni an Italian luxury brand simply because savile row could not have handled the amount of suits needed and now producers have moved to Tom Ford with Daniel Craig (IMO He looks more like a bodyguard) that nonchalance style of Mr Bond is missing.I hope the era of Savile row comes back it goes along with image of James bond much better.

The first tailor to come up with Tuxedo was Henry Poole &Co. in 1860's and they are still in business!

If I had to dress bond I would have sporting jackets from H.Huntsman and suits from Anderson and Sheppard ,shirts from Turnbull & Asser and shoes from John Lobb & co :D

Ganesh,

Movie is releasing on 9th Nov 2012.

Oye fashionista!! You're forgetting that this is a firearms forum!

Also, lighting off a .500 in that position would give Mr. Bond a cause for plastic surgery! Which he otherwise desperately needs from the looks of it! ROTFL
"With solid bullets on heavy animals such as elephant, rhino and buffalo this power is quite apparent but is not so obvious as when soft-nose bullets are being used, say, lion, particularly when is a case of stopping a charge : the .404 will stop him all right, but will seldom crumple him quite so completely as will the .416" -- John Taylor, Big Game and Big Game Rifles, (Ch. IX)

Sean Connery is the best retro bond, Brosnan is the best modern bond. Both had that effortless style and a devil may care attitude .No one else comes close.Craig is getting there, but remember Craig plays an inexperienced bond.Casino Royale was the first book i believe.
I would rather hit my target gently than miss hard.
