I have a couple of them... throwing knives are like any other fixed blade except shape and weight distribution. No special legal issues.

Hi Skyman, I bought both from an old shop in Hong Kong about 15 years ago. One is an English broadhead. The other is a little queer, with adjustable weight that moves up and down the middle of the blade. I am having a bad time with a new project at office. Getting home at wee hours. So cant promise a pic. Lets see.
I know how to throw and the door to my bedroom balcony took the torture test for quite a few years. Its all about practice, practice and practice. There is no rocket science here. Youtube is full of knife throwing videos and some of them are very authentic... (one can easily make out the armchair experts) You can learn the techniques.
In my days there was no you tube so had to learn it the hard way.

And hardness. They are kept softer so as not to snap when they impact a hard target such as a log.

Three styles of Muela throwing knives used to be available at some of the Victorinox outlets in India. This was a few years ago and I am not sure if they still stock them. However, you could enquire with a Muela stockist in India.

gents the cons of throwing knives are simple one, once thrown they leave you unarmed. and do not always kill like the movies.lol

any knife can be used as a throwing knives, it all depends on the skill of the person. even a shovel can thrown.

a sharp boomerrang is handy as it does come back if miss, sort of.
