Yes the problem has to confronted. It is not just the dealers but the entire chain beginning from IOF. It is not only Consumer Protection Act 1986 that is being violated by restrictive trade practices by IOF but is also abusing its dominant position in violation of Competition Act 2002. The shortage of .32 pistol cartridges mentioned by you is one such small example, which will naturally give rise to increase in prices. As far as I am concerned, naturally i will take the route of Consumer Protection Act as no dealer can charge more than the MRP set by the IOF.
