Scope for Czech Brno .22

Right now I install a Bushnell 7X32 scope, what would be the best for the rifle if I am using
1. Indian made .22 rounds
2. Imported .22 rounds

7x32 is an odd configuration for a scope. 4x32 is more likely! Best would be to avoid using a scope on a .22. The effective flat trajectory is not going to be more than 55 meters. At that range it better to use your iron sights.

Assuming you use it competitively, you would not be able to use optical sights. On the other hand if you use it in the field, your target is not going to be static and with an objective diameter of 32mm, the target will have slipped out before you can even acquire it. So the only application left where you could use a scope on a .22 is for silhouette shooting!

As concerns the makes of ammo, it's a personal choice. Despite people cussing the IOF/KF I think, in the present circumstances, it's just fine.

In .22 rimmed fire Rifle, most of the gun writers has suggested to use the scope which is not more than 4X Power (like 4X20 or 4X32) because of it limited range. But I have used the Leapers scope 3-9X32 AO in my .22 Brno Model 2E Rifle, the accuracy is quite satisfied, it is half inch grouping in the bulleyes at the range of 50 metres with Lapua standard rounds, half inch grouping at the range of 75 metres with Winchester super X hiper velocity hollow point rounds. It shows that the Hi or Hiper velocity rounds are much flatter than the standard round one. Selection of the scope has to be very curious as well as selection of ammo. I have experience that single brand of the ammo should be used once which is zeroing the rifle with. KF or Indian made ammo has no consistency in accuracy as well as velocity. A 7x32 is an excelent choice....... 7x magnification is more than sufficient, because after increasing an decreasing the magnification on all my variable scopes some how i have setteled on 6x and a fixed power scope is more rugged and durable due to less moving parts....some might find this debatable.
As far as amo is concerned, i have used an .22lr extensively and found it to have decent accuracy at 125yard which is dependent on the amo and rifle you use. i am quite fond of the winchester super X myself, at 125yards you'll get a migrange rise roughly of around 1.25"-1.5" which is not bad......this was from a Krico single shot 24" barell.

As for a scope, use what ever you want. I use a 4-24x on my .22.

Your bullet drop between 50 and 75 meters is going to be a lot more than 0.75 inches. Between 50 and 100 meters, I typically see a 4 inch drop with CCI standards.

You can shoot a .22 out to about 200 meters, but it needs a fair amount of skill.

from my previous reading experts have suggested to zero the .22 scope at 25 yards so it would be almost or near zero at 5 yards and 1inch high at 50 yards.

In regards to the scope I think investing in a low cost 3-9X, and 30-40mm scope is good. Mine (currently using) is something powerful 6-24x, 40mm.
