A one piece mount is probably not the best way to go while mounting a scope on a break barrel. Most break barrels suffer from barrel droop to some extent and I would imagine that the IHP is no different. Better to get a two piece mount set up and shim one of the mounts (used photo film works well as a shim) to compensate for the droop.

Cheers!

Today I received my new IHP, Model 35, .177, Air Rifle.
I was waiting eagerly for this air rifle since the production of the rifle was stopped for few years.

Hello everybudy, I am from Raipur, Chhattisgarh. At July 18th 2012 I was purchase a IHP 35 .22 Ari Rifle from a gun shop, but another shop keeper (Gun Dealer) see my Air Rifle and told me that " This is not Original IHP 35 this is Duplicate." I was realy surprised ! but when I see the rifle there was stamp of National IHP 35. I don't know my Rifle is Original or Duplicate. Anybody tell me how can I conform that my Air Rifle is Original? Please help me and Reply soon. Thanks

you get a warrenty card & instruction/maintainace card from IHP. Also the original gun have the serial no stamped on the left side of the barrel you can mail the same to the IHP and get the details.
