Peep or Open?!
Can anybody tell me which sights are permitted in air rifle 10m tournaments, peep sights or open ones?
So many times, it happens too fast

Open-sight is only allowed in inter-school competitions. So, it is only peep-sight air rifle for all others.

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

Its a rumor that open sight helps develop your shooting skills. However open sight does not go further than provincial matches and inter-school. I would recommend peep sight is a better way to pursue air rifle shooting sport.
