Need Help for getting a new Airgun within 12000 rupees max..

Hi all.. I am Ramakrishnan from Coimbatore.. Now working in Chennai.. I am new to this group.. I badly want to get an air rifle with a good accuracy and velocity for a minimum range of 30 meters.. Shooting is just for fun and not for any competition.. In coimbatore, there is a airgun store 'Kovai Sporting Arms'.. Anyone having idea about this shop? They told me that there is a diana gun (Not exactly DIANA from Germany).. Indian made gun with Diana spring and Red-dot in that rifle. They are charging around Rs.10000 for this. Is it worth? From your discussions, i can understand that IHP guns are better when compared to other Indian make airgun rifles.. In Chennai there is an IHP airgun dealer, Hindustan sporting.. But no one is attending the phone call.. Team, What should i do now to get the rifle soon? Please help me out as soon as possible for getting a good airgun rifle with a maximum estimate of Rs.12000.. Looking forward to getting a good support from you team!!

**** Also i request the team to explain the pros and cons airgun pistol and airgun rifle.

**** Is it really worth getting a airgun pistol for long range shooting around maximum of 30 meters?

U cud get a National (N 25) {.177} at about Rs. 5100/- .Thats the price they sell at in Delhi.

But how to get that rifle? Whom shouuld i contact for getting that rifle? Is it really good in accuracy and velocity for a range of 30 meters? Also can i go for 0.22 calibre guns for this spec of 30 meters accuracy?

Try www.aimco.co.in . They are safe to deal with. As far as cost goes, it will be 5700 for ihp 35 .22. Add another 600 odd for freight through GATI courier. Time 6-7 days..

Ya.. I visited that site.. The thing is they have only 4 guns in that list out of which IHP national 35 is the only IHP company rifle.. Have any one used that gun? Whats actually its spec like accuracy distance, FPS, etc.. Please help me out.. Should we do online payment for that gun or payment after delivery?

You need Good Velocity,Good Accuracy and that too in .22 caliber for around 12k.Just don't think about any thing go for IHP 35 .22 caliber.According to me AMICO is best payment through online.In Chennai minimum IHP will be around 7k - 8k.Because there are very few IHP dealer Hindustan sports they are authorized dealer for IHP but maximum they will be out of stock.

Thank you very much team So happy on getting a good support from the team and also getting a better view on my gun purchase. But still needing your support to go further ahead. IHP 35 .22 caliber is the only best option in IHP? I am asking this because as per AMICO, this gun costs around 6300 rupees including transit. But i am even okay to go till 10000 rupees for my first gun purchase. So just requesting your support for top most best guns for my max. budget. If not i ll go for this IHP 35 purchase itself.. Also if we get the gun through online, how can we approach the supplier if the good is getting defective by transit or repair works?

**** Also is there possibilities of fixing the scope and Red-dot with that gun? ****

I have used IHP but not Jimmy 200 so i can't comment about it.Now its up to you but there wont be scope rail on IHP but for 20 to 30 meters IHP open sight is much enough.But if you want to fit scope on IHP there are after market parts available.

ok Sowmi.. Now i have almost planned to get an IHP 35 0.22 calibre.. Really trusting you team for the reliability of this gun.. I am planning to get the gun along with 10 packets of pellets.

How about the trigger smoothness in IHP 35 gun? Heard in new diana gun which i had mentioned before from Coimbatore, has the provision of replacing the spring with Original Diana gun spring because of which the velocity actually crosses 650 to 700 FPS it seems.. Anyone having idea about this New DIANA gun? Requesting the team to please send me the reply ASAP..

master shot round head pellets is best for IHP 35 .22
according to my knowledge indian made air pistol is not worth for long range

Thanks bro.. Why only master shot round will go with IHP 35? I just gave order for AMICO pellets (5 packets) as well as Master shot pellets (5 packets).. Both are mixed combination like round head, pointed head etc..
Is Amico pellets good for the gun? Also Is it only recommended to use round head pellet and that too master? Team, please reply me son.. Based on the answer, i should make changes in my order..

**** Also can we get the pellets from outside through online? If so please help me with it..
