Hello everyone , I have been trying hard to find a pocket knife in hyderabad but just couldn't get hands on one yet.
I have a pocket knife a cheap china one 3 inch blade OTF type but i kinda screwed it by throwing it at my dart board. I have been looking for a new one since two months i tried searching the forum but didn't get any solid info. Any info on whereas to get a pocket knife in hyderabad will be appreciated.

Congrats on the Recon 1. Which website did u buy it from?. I am planning to buy Recon Tanto.kartiksingh1992 wrote:If you want a branded one and have a budget for about 4 to 5 k you can get a very nice piece online. The total cost would come out to be way cheaper than anywhere in India. On advice of some veteran members I got a Cold Steel Recon 1 Tanto folder for about 4750 online Including Shipping And Customs Duty, same is offered here in India at more that 7500.

Congrats on the Kabar aswell. . I ordered couple of folders from KC a few days back. When i checked the order status yesterday it was showing as "Payment Voided" so emailed them immediately and i received a reply saying that there has been a mistake and the blades are out of stock (site showing as "in stock"). They said that the blades will be available in another week and the items will be shipped then. Hoping for the best. Fingers crossedkartiksingh1992 wrote:Thanks You can read my experience at http://www.indiansforguns.com/viewtopic ... 20&t=16981jai_432 wrote:Congrats on the Recon 1. Be prepared to wait infinitely as KC has this nasty habit of showing stock when none is at hand. You shall get those eventually, or a full refund - just preparing you mentally.jai_432 wrote:Congrats on the Kabar aswell. . I ordered couple of folders from KC a few days back. I opted for FedEx for fast and hassle free delivery. But this time the delay is from KCkartiksingh1992 wrote:Thanks Did you opted for FedEx? The KC customer service is very efficient, they answered all my questions patiently. You don't need to worry, you'll get your blades soon.Keep us posted and when you do get them please post pics.

Thank you for the info people really appreciate it , but are you sure that folders or pocket knives are available in Basecamp ( GVK ). I have been to Basecamp once briefly just had a brisk look around in the shop and asked them if switchblades were available (.they said no) and walked out of it ,this was like 3 months back. If any pocket sized folding knives are available ill surely get one from there. And how about some unofficial ones ,roadside ,china ones are they available in any market in Hyderabad

My experience with KC has been very good till now . Never had a problem . I have ordered lots of stuff from them while in the US and also imported them to India. Its a small internet based business and I did visit them while in Maryland - very friendly too .
I always use Fedex while ordering from them . If duty is charged Fedex collects it while delivery .
Try to get in touch with Kevin for sales and Alexandra for billing .

Called up Basecamp Hyderabad today, they told me except for victorinox multi tool they don't have any folding knives available with them. Any other suggestions ?
