Many Happy Returns of the Day - have a great year ahead. Hope you get a "good grip" on AP and life alike and enjoy both to the fullest. Yes I have spoken to Vishwajeet and reminded him following our exchange. He is carrying the AP with him to Jaipur. Hope you have given him your contact nos. He arrives there today... ... may be with your birthday present. Good Luck.

TiRpassion you are doing a fine job of mentoring, keep it up, you will find that the more you give the greater you will receive.

Re: Tips on Pistol Shooting
Dear agn, Jitu bhai and all,
I would request you to go back to the first two lessons (1 & 2) of Guruji, just for verification. Why? A lot of time has passed since the first lessons were posted and since you have read them probably. In between, you have matured in shooting sport and your ability to feel the lessons have evolved positively. The interpretation of reading them again now will have a different meaning altogether. You will apply the lessons really because you would have felt how to apply them.
Without those first two lessons we can not go on. It is absolutely necessary to have the FOUNDATIONS STRONG to the point that it does not slacken with time.
Keep going!

Re: Tips on Pistol Shooting
let me have a re-read of the lessons. that seems to be great advice. it is like reading again your favorite books like in my case Illusions by richard Bach or a marathi book called Saad deti Himashikhare (means call of the himalayan summits). gives you a new meaning every time

Re: Tips on Pistol Shooting
Once again, you are right and on bull's eye, tirpassion. The lessons need to be re-visited periodically. I recently followed the thread again from the start and found that the lessons and also the "vedant-style" Q&A (as I mentioned somewhere) interaction between Jitu and Guruji helped me clear a lot of Qs. A generous spraying of wit by dev helps too. (Keep it coming dev ) And now tirpassion you are doing an admirable job.
These lessons have definitely helped in the journey from 60s through 70s through 80s and today I am knocking on the doors of 90s in about a year's time. That Madmoiselle 90 has kept me waiting at her door is a different matter - but the bouquet still hasn't wilted. I am to blame if I have not been up to par as my practice & physical training have been inconsistent due to whatever reasons. But it's these lessons that help me recapitulate and attain the last known level fast and push the bar a little beyond. Thank you all very much for your active participation and encouragement.
Good Luck to all the pisteleros. BTW, I noticed that quite a few joined in with tremendous gusto and then cooled down equally fast - why ? Guys, shed that Potter's Cloak of Invisibility and share your experiences and expertise too.

Re: Tips on Pistol Shooting
hey agn
the journey doesnt end even at 90. i crossed 90 and am regularly shooting above 90 in all4/6 sets but the lady seems to be holding me there and ajust a little beyond. 94 is the max. the 95 bastion is pretty strong and i guess requires massive effort especially if it is to be done with consistency. so heres to all the triers. pistoliers, triers and backbreakers unite. you have nothing to loose but those extra kgs, those extra hours of lazyness , those little bouts of loosing concentration, those thoughts fickering in your mind at the wrong moment(to include that damsel in red skirt),those thoughts of "forget it,i can't do this" , those thoughts.............................................

Re: Tips on Pistol Shooting
In that case Jitu you are almost there. 94-95 ought to fetch you some metal at GVM this year. May be the other dame, Madame Luck, awaits that tournament for you to break the glass walls and set yourself free. Moi ? Focussing only on MQS and NR this entire year. Good Luck bro - hope to see a good mail from you wrt GVM soon.
PS: I am all ready to lose those extra KGs and hours of lethargy but dang 'em folks ain't ready to leggo of me yet.

Re: Tips on Pistol Shooting
hey agn.
as i said i am just across the 90 fence. but it is easy to slip down than mov up. so medal and al is faaaaaaar away. am concentrating on improving my SA. guess the improvement would happen automatically. but have been at 90 and nearby for last month or more. so would require a lot of effort. but the best part about going above 42 is u hardly have any other things to divert ur attention. so heave ho

Re: Tips on Pistol Shooting
Nice to read your posts Jitu and agn. You feel the evolution in yourselves. Nice achievement. Together, we need to grow up a bit more where we will not think of 90's , 95's. They are all Mayas, as you put up in a red apparel (precising will be fantasizing) clad demoiselle. Great imagination Jitu
Let us think more of 90%, 95% of work achieved. I MUST ACHIEVE 100%. It is high time. Dames will follow.
keep going

Re: Tips on Pistol Shooting
hey friends,
I am always happy to share my happiness with you as with my family.
Last to last week, I got a bronze, in my first competition of muzzleloaders, in the revolver category. Scored 93/100 with the gun you see in my Avatar'. It was an Inter state match and our state shooting body gave me the honour of representing our state for the 4th consecutive time since last two years. I am happy to have saved my honour.
I am compiling a photo session of shooting ML revolver step by step and post it in a few days whenever I find some extra time.
enjoy
