nice
"With solid bullets on heavy animals such as elephant, rhino and buffalo this power is quite apparent but is not so obvious as when soft-nose bullets are being used, say, lion, particularly when is a case of stopping a charge : the .404 will stop him all right, but will seldom crumple him quite so completely as will the .416" -- John Taylor, Big Game and Big Game Rifles, (Ch. Its only when you roll your own can you expect results like these, but on the same note, some of the factory stuff being made today is pretty darn awesome too!

Impressive.I just like the 6.5 Swede. It is such an inherently accurate cartridge. It is high on my list of calibres to get.
BTW, Are they hand-loads or factory ammo? Thanks.

Phew - amazing Corjack - you simply knocked the target's left eye out! He's going to need some serious reconstructive surgery ! Congrats!

Re: Blaser BBF 97 Accuracy
There were only three rounds shot, and they were my handloads. I own four 6.5X55s, and the best thing about them is, they are easy to develope accurate loads for, and easy on your shoulder.

Groups that matter are 5 shot at the least.

Re: Blaser BBF 97 Accuracy
Actually groups do not matter at all, the first bullet in the proper place, is usually all that is needed.
