@Mahesh - They might ask you to pay the warehouse charges. Please do not entertain them if they do. Its a clearance delay because of customs- you're not responsible for it. Rs.75 is a day rate.

Just wait for a couple of days, and your gun will be in your hands.

Hi Mansoor,

Both, FedEx as well as Pyramyd Air resumed shipping the air guns to India already. From today, customs will start the clearance of the pending/detained stock too.

please keep me posted on any updates as to when the customs release the shipment. mine reached delhi on 25th jan and still there for customs clearance. i have sent them the SC stay, NRAI news article. lets pray and Hope we get the packages soon.

hi IFGians,
checked the fedex tracking website for updates, guess what, the gun has cleared customs, it was all along showing clearance delay - import, but now the status is in Transit - Delhi, it also mentions International Shipment release - import.
Do you guys think it has cleared customs??
Hope the rifle reaches safe and sound. i guess it will take about a week to get it as it is addressed to Trichy.

AFAIK, and based on my experiences, it could be a system generated error. Do you live in Delhi? If the status shows "In-Transit" after "Clearance Delay", the gun's on her way home.

If you don't live in Delhi, there's a possibility that the gun is cleared, and now heading to FedEx delivery hub/van for final delivery at your place.

The best option is to call up FedEx, and check with what they've got to say.

P.S On the FedEx tracking page, what does it show in "Details" column? see if there are any comments put by FedEx team.

gocoll where r u located-in delhi or where else-fedex insists onvarious transit forms for transportation to various places -at least thats what i was told for roorkee,uttarakhand where they have a office. ive myself had to collect ny previous airguns from delhi when fedex refusd to ship them to bareilly ,UP stating form 16/32 to be sent to them
